Femme – Art Exhibition

It was a complete thrill to be invited by photographer Natasja Kremers to collaborate on this artistic project. The printed and painted artworks of Femme share gritty textural photography intertwined with delicate illustration in coloured and metallic paint. Themes of femininity, fashion, flora and fauna are explored; but it was the process of collaboration that defined the exhibition’s outcome.

20 photographs were printed on thick cotton paper and were overlayed with illustrations painted in gouache. Limited edition prints of 10 were created for each original piece, plus a special artwork was auctioned on opening night with full proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Care WA.
